I had my first back injury playing volleyball in high school. Ever since that point my back has always been problematic. I had my second back injury from weight lifting (doing squats) in university. After that point I never did squats or deadlifts again. From that point on whenever I had to do physical labor, my back would be sore for 1-2 days after.
