Nicole is incredible, and the salon is amazing. I've been several times and have always received a warm, friendly greeting upon arrival. I’ve never waited more than a few minutes to have my hair washed (which, is a glorious experience in and of itself...if you’re having a bad day, go get your hair washed at Rebel) or to see Nicole. Horrible experience!!! I had high hopes based on a recommendation, but unfortunately, my experience with Nicole was far from a positive one. The appointment started 1.5 hours late, and the lack of organization and professionalism from the moment I walked in was something I wouldn’t want anyone else to experience. My hair stylist Nicole didn’t listen to what I requested, and the final result was nothing like the photos I provided her. She was extremely rude and unprofessional. Nicole has been doing my hair for nearly two decades. I've followed her from her early days as a stylist in Milford, to down town New Haven, and now Rebel. I love her work so much I've even gotten my mother, sister, and very opinionated hard to please 14 year old stepson being styled by her. My mom and sister who've both moved across the country make it a point to fit in an appointment every time they're here to visit. My stepson's last cut was chef's kiss. The owner personally contacted me and scheduled an installation appointment at the end of September, which I truly appreciate. I just got my haircut by Nicole and couldn’t be happier with the results. She really listened to what I wanted and gave me a clean, sharp style that suits me perfectly. The attention to detail was impressive, and she made sure everything was even and tailored to my face shape. On top of that, she’s friendly, professional, and makes the whole experience comfortable. Easily one of the best haircuts I’ve had—highly recommend Nicole if you’re looking for a fresh, confident look!
