I went in to see Dr Stalek about 10 years ago when I was sick. We had trouble verifying my insurance because it was the beginning of Obama care and getting through to a provider on the phone was difficult. As her office mgr tried to contact Empire Dr Stalek said this was ridiculous. You need care and I’m going to provide it. We’ll take care of the details after. How many doctors would have done that? I found her to be kind, professional and has the courage of her convictions. She arranged for a ct scan of my lungs and was able to diagnose pneumonia, when no one else would order the test. She worked with me, listening to my concerns and took action as needed. She views the pt a whole entity and offers sound advice and recommendations. I am only sad she now works parttime.

It’s the office not the doctor. Horrible. Worst. All downhill after the main doctors left the practice.

Not professional, misdiagnoses her patients, talked poorly about Dr. Koch (my old doctor), no bedside manor, belittles her patients. Zero stars
