I was there for a referral to a pain specialist. I was disappointed that they weren’t able to provide some immediate relief for the pain, as I was expecting. But I was even more disappointed that I’m still not clear on what’s causing the pain and what my best treatment options are moving forward. Perhaps this doctor thought I knew more than I did, but, she wasn’t able to explain it to me and seemed more set on a certain path forward versus talking through my options.
Dr. Holdren was caring and friendly. She took time to explain things to me.
