I appreciate Dr Danforth and her staff. She has helped me find a medication to calm the rheumatoid arthritis. I highly recommend her and I think her nurse is awesome!
After my rheumatologist, Dr. Corsi (BEST doctor ever BTW and I was with her more than 4 years), retired I was assigned Dr. Danforth and saw her for the first time in June 2024. The lady would not even look at me when she was talking to me, but kept looking at her computer or my wife, even when I was talking to her and she should have been responding to me. I think Dr. Danforth is a wonderful doctor. I have been a patient for four years. She is always pleasant, takes time to answer my questions, and was extremely diligent in trying to get my diagnosis correct. I hate being sick but it helps having a doctor I am comfortable with and whom I trust. I would highly recommend her.
As a person living with chronic pain, the most important thing to me in any doctor is to be heard. Dr. Danforth could take some lessons in this area. I was shooshed and told "I get it, you're miserable." I felt like she did not want me to talk at all. Guess what? No one knows my body better than I do, which I'm sure is the case with most people, so she should really learn to listen!
