My experience with Dr. Jamal as a caregiver/advocate for my elderly family member was HORRIBLE, and UNPROFESSIONAL! She has an arrogant "I am the doctor; I am the expert" attitude and does not listen to deeper or challenging questions. Referral made, beginning of June, for a procedure, no response. I had to call them in July to make my own appt...but was told I couldn't, it had to be a referral. I told them they had one. I Called my dr and asked for another referral. They finally called me and I made the appt for October. I am seventy-five years old. If I used for several years this doctor Alegria for my health care, it was because of the Spanish language, so that I could clearly understand the explanations about my heart condition. Otherwise, I would never have dealt with him. From the beginning he showed his apathy and lack of interest in my case. I was a patient at this facility for over 10 years, receiving treatment for multiple ongoing medical conditions. Over time, the quality of care declined significantly--appointments became more about paperwork and billing than actual patient care. At my most recent visit, I raised legitimate concerns about my health, and instead of addressing them, the facility removed me as a patient. If you are looking for healthcare that prioritizes the patient over policy and profits, I'd recommend looking elsewhere.

It took me almost 9 months to see a Neurologist. I had 2 other appointments with other Neurologist before seeing Dr Fleming. Charlotte Neuro kept setting appointments with a Neurologist who could not help me. Now it has been exactly 4 weeks after seeing him and I am waiting on insurance authorization for Injections into my neck for Neck Dystonia. I called my insurance today and apparently Charlotte Neuro hasn't even submitted my pre-authorization. WHY would Charlotte Neuro NOT submit my claim in a timely manner? I am almost ... read more

Great care with equally caring heart!  Very attentive staff from nursing to PT and OT!  Also earning 5 stars were the food service and cleaning staff.  After sustaining a serious leg fracture and ensuing surgery, followed by a week in rehab after my hospital stay, my sincere gratitude goes out to everyone who helped with my care. You made my personally difficult circumstances as pleasant and helpful as possible.  Thank you to all for your highly skilled and professionally supportive care!
