Dr. Belsom has been my provider for 5 years and I have always had a wonderful experience with her. My family and I had to move recently and I told my husband “I miss my rheumatologist”. It’s hard to find a provider you really like! She has always been kind, compassionate and straight forward with me. Appropriate amount of monitoring/lab work for my diagnosis. Quick responses from staff when I have messaged them. Pleasant experience with everyone in this office!
I almost never give one star reviews. Like many of the reviewers here i felt like Dr. Belsom ignored my problems AS WELL as ignoring the previous diagnoses of a top national research rheumatologist who spent two and a half years diagnosing me while I attended school at age 40 in Pennsylvania because my condition had progressed so far that I could no longer work the somewhat physical job that I had enjoyed for the past 14 years. Doctor Belsom was very caring and listened to everything I had to say. I never felt rushed and she addressed all my concerns. She was prompt in addressing my test results and I trusted her implicitly.
New patients beware. After hearing a positive review first hand from a current patient with Dr. Belsom, I felt hope for the first time that I could get a second opinion on various difficult diagnosis and an even more difficult history with unsuccessful prescribed biologics. I begin attempting a referral the beginning of May 2023. Dr Belsom is a wonderful doctor and very knowledgeable. She has a good bedside manner and always takes the time to explain any questions I have. I feel like she listens and is never in a hurry with me. I was referred to Dr Belsom by my Retina Specialist because I have a very rare autoimmune disease called Birdshot Chorioretinopathy. Between her and the retina doctor, I am in remission with no eye inflammation.
