I met Dr R. Winchester and her staff today. I have been looking for a good caring doctor for a long time and have seen many non-caring medical professionals. Dr Winchester was wonderful!! She is caring, professional, knowledgeable and most of all a good genuine warming person She just didn’t treat symptoms, she saw me as a person! For a month Dr. Winchester has been trying to figure out what the giant lump on my neck was. First, she prescribed antibiotics which didn't work. Then she told me to suck on hard candy and use a warm cloth on the bump and that didn't work. Then she checked to see if I had a virus. I had no virus. Then she finally, after a month, ordered a CT scan with contrast. It turned out to be cancer. Yet I NEVER got to speak to Dr. Winchester about the cancer because she was on vacation. I would give this office ZERO stars if I could. I started seeing Dr. Winchester when I moved close to the Winghaven office in 2022. I thought, "great a woman, a DO; perfect!" Boy, was I wrong. Avoid this office at all costs. It's been impossible to get an appointment within a reasonable timeframe. For example, after an ER visit, I have been told to follow up with my primary in 3-5 days. Dr. Winchester and her entire staff are the best family office in the STATE. Not only is everyone in the office compassionate and understanding to your needs but they go above and beyond .
Very happy with Dr. Winchester. She has been my primary doctor going on five years now. Couldn't be happier having her as my doctor.
