I went to realization when I first got sober. They saved my life, I was a shell of a person, I just made 10 years sober last month, I graduated nursing school and am working towards my masters in nursing education. i can’t say enough about how much support I got while I was there. I “graduated” after a year of outpatient rehab, and they set me up with a full support team for my transition.
Realisation Center. What to say? Im in my second year of sobriety and they did so much for me. Highly recomending for anyone who has addictions issues. Thanks a LOT!
The front desk staff was really nice when I went! I don't remember the names of the individuals who helped me but they were all kind. Candace, who did my intake on days 1 and 2, was also very kind and appeared caring and understanding. I felt like she spoke to me as a person. The person that did my intake on the 3rd day (I believe he name is Miranda) appeared to be more "clinical" if you will. When I was in active use I had a partner who was also in active use and when he passed away unexpectedly I knew it was time for me to get sober. 4 months later I became a client at Realization Center and 4 months after that I stopped using. I have been sober for 22 months and I am a full-time student. It's thanks to Realization Center that I can live a truthful, sober and fulfilling life. Thank you so much for helping me get my life back.
My experience has been overflowing with challenges, respect, love, decency, compassion, and strength, to name a few. It is warm with kindness that which is not a weakness, it is a strength. Also I must learn to speak with good purpose. Finding words that adequately stress exactly what's on my mind and in my heart is equally important, in a timely fashion. My sobriety is not only important to me but to the people around me and those willing to help.
