Recently took my 1936 GMC to them for brake work and axle seals. It was about three weeks in the shop, with most of the time waiting on parts delivery. Picked it up yesterday and was very pleased at the amount of work done and the very reasonable price for the work. Finding parts for a 90 yer old truck is challenging but they did a great job all the way around. Keep in mind that this is not like the tire chain shops who look to get 10 cars in and out a day, this is shop that pays attention to detail and doing things right!
These guys are experts, reasonably priced, and do phenomenal work!
BEWARE...unless you have more money than brains. Severely overcharged labor hours to repair a power window. I would estimate the overcharge to be a minimum of 6 hrs or $570. The actual overcharge could be higher. It's hard to determine due to the way they listed it in their invoice. Convenient! Note: This charge was merely to DIAGNOSE the power window issue. Really appreciate the work they did on my 1932 Chevrolet Roadster. The project offered many challenges, including no longer available parts that needed specialist rebuilding and skills to do mechanical work with systems that were sunset in the 1950's. Additionally, they were also not fussed about storing the vehicle while waiting for parts and then my return to town - which is somewhat rare in St Pete. Car is running really well again - appreciate all the work that the team at Realistic Restorations did. Thank you again.
