The workmanship was adequate, but the customer service was extremely disappointing. The contract included skirts as part of the staircase trim package. However, the company left approximately four feet of trim unfinished, stating that it was “baseboard” and therefore not covered under the agreement. We viewed this as an honest misunderstanding, since every other part of the staircase—including every stair, landing, and transition—has matching skirts and trim.
