I had an extremely disturbing and unacceptable experience using a Groupon for a prenatal massage, and I feel compelled to warn others about Vivian. From the moment I arrived, the experience was unprofessional. Vivian showed up late, and while she initially seemed kind, things quickly took a turn. Vivian is AMAZING! Her body work is top notch and her communication was consistent and informative every step of the process. Not only is her work wonderful, but Vivian has a knack for making you feel comfortable and welcome within the first conversation. You can tell she genuinely loves what she does and cares about you and your journey. I went in for a prenatal session. It was the first time in years I took the time to prioritize myself and I will definitely be coming back. Truly such a wonderful experience.
I’m a little nervous to leave this review because I know what to expect based on the owner’s responses to previous reviews, but want to validate other expectant mothers who’ve shared similar experiences. Do not book if you have dyed hair. I am quite saddened to leave this review as the massage itself was great. Unfortunately, this experience was ruined by how insanely rude she was after the masssage. I have blue hair that has been dyed semi recently. We discussed this before the massage began and she said it was no problem, she said she would put down a towel and that lemon oil would get it right off. I have nothing but the best things to say about Vivian and her bodywork practice. She is insightful, caring, and a skilled practitioner. I would highly recommend especially for people who are tuned into their internal environment, or for people looking for a real quality bodywork that goes beyond massage.
