Fraudulent billing practices include being billed for services AFTER multiple discussions and confirmations of Insurance coverage. I paid the co-pay in full, calculated by staff, and am being harassed by bill collectors for services I was ASSURED were covered by the insurance i specifically secured in order to have treatment at the facility. So-called "surprise" medical bills presented to clients AFTER verbal guarantee of insurance coverage and acceptance constitute fraud and breach of contract.

The patient spoke with our Network Credentialing and Compliance Officer on March 16, 2021, and achieved a positive resolution. Our office is currently working with a Delta Dental claims specialist to resolve several unpaid claims caused by an error in their system. The patient's recent statement was generated during a routine audit and was printed because her claim had reached 180+ days without payment.
