Went over all medical needs
He always comes in with a huge smile and listens to my concerns. He's been my PCP for 12 years and I wouldn't trade him for the world!
Dr. Elkins always greets you with a smile and listens to your concerns about your health. Never dismisses your concerns and always explains why about your symptoms and offers advice on what to do at home.
He keeps up with my labs and let’s me know what they mean.
My son saw Dr Elkins on a Thursday. Severe upper abdominal pain, tenderness, bloating and nausea. Classic symptoms of gall bladder or pancreatic issues. He was sent home with a prescription for medication typically prescribed for acid reflux. By Sunday night he was in the ER! Enzyme levels off the charts, scan of gall bladder did not show stones but it along with pancreas were inflamed. Diagnosis of pancreatitis. Sent to a GI Specialist. My advice, DO NOT go to this Dr.!!!!
Dr. Elkins makes you feel comfortable immediately you can talk to him about any problem and he seems to have a photographic memory in that his concentratation is so focused that he addresses every issue you might bring up. He spends more time than any other doctor I've ever seen examining the source of your pain and explaining thouroughly possible issues and perhaps follow up treatment. He values your input about your issues. He listens. When u r with him u r his most important patient-no rush!
