I haven’t been with this practice very long but they did a MRI of my low lumbar region and called to tell me I have (severe) lumbar spinal stenosis. This call was on 06-13-2025 well it is now the 17th. When you have severe pain it doesn’t just turn itself on and off like a light switch. So I called before the close of business today and canceled my next appointment bcuz I told them I don’t want any narcotics or opioids I’m allergic to most pain meds anyway. Up until this week, I've had nothing but positive things to say about this practice and the practioners. This week I received a call from one of the nurses stating my provider is stopping my pain medicine and I should take Tylenol. I absolutely understand and agree with the reason for stopping the pain medicine. My issue is, not one person ever asked me if I've tried OTC meds.
