I did not find this training objective. I found the overly-experiential approach where one is forced to 're-enact' their inner child (eg by group rituals) as rather infantilising, and in my opinion creates a cultish feel to the training. For me, I would rather have a training based on set objectivity rather than forced catharsis, or regression into wishy washy 'inner child' poetical themes (which is not for everyone). I completed the Transitions course roughly 10 years ago, with a view to initially training as a counsellor, with this organisation, and perhaps later a psychotherapist. I then left the UK for 8 years and took a different path. I just looked them up and saw some negative reviews so wanted to add my own, very positive review.
