Remax listed a house for rent. My daughter responded and they asked her to fill out an application and told her that she has to pay $100 application fee. My daughter asked and was assured beforehand that she had a strong chance of securing the house, so she reluctantly paid the $100 fee. My daughter and her husband are a young couple and she is pregnant so they don't have money to throw around. Jennifer Scott was told numerous times and responded that she understood that we did NOT want/and would not live in an HOA. We found a house and Jennifer, the broker Jodie, and closing attorney Jack Holmes confirmed that this property DID NOT have an HOA. No closing document reflected an HOA. The Atty. and Ms. Scott was asked Again at closing on recording. NO HOA. We made contact with Todd Clouser today , he was very unprofessional! We asked about a property in Paris, and he said it was under contract. We tried to talk to him about other properties that might be available, and he hung the phone up on us. We called back a couple of times, trying to give the benefit of bad service, but it was apparent he was being unprofessional and did not want to communicate! Would not recommend this kind of service if you are looking for property. We will definitely be looking else where.
