I first started browsing for properties online and connected with Chip Watson from ReMax at the Shore. I told him I was in my initial stage of looking. There was no pressure from him, but Chip continued to send me property updates that matched my search criteria. This was very helpful. My husband and I DO NOT RECOMMEND RE/MAX CHOICE Broker Charles Ray's company Ray Rentals Property Management. Ray Rentals is the trade name for Ca Ray, Inc. We used them to manage our rental properties in Fayetteville. We thought the service they provided was horrible. We feel Ray Rentals created avoidable and unnecessary problems for us with their incompetence. My wife and I recently closed on a condo in North Wildwood. Chip Watson and his team made the process (from search to closing) extremely simple, and were there to help us every step of the way. Chip Watson took what could have been a very difficult situation and turned it all around to the perfect ending. Chip and his team of Helen Ann and Shae know how to glide effortlessly through everything from the easiest to most difficult issues and questions. Their positive "can do" attitudes took the stress and worry of the whole sale process. We could not have imagined this turning out any better than it did!
These guys are slime- the owner admits he allows his agents to use " legal but unethical" tactics . They had 2 fully executed contracts - ours and someone else's- on a property at the same time. We almost shelled out thousands for inspections only to find out that someone else was also inspecting the property - Total accident! We never would have known if we didn't-- by chance --call the same inspector!! Do not use Joy Thylander!! My sister, Sheri Temple, and I bought a farm in Waynesville, NC. The agreement was splitting all costs associated with Apple Hill Farms. Joy and my sister were partners for many years and Joy was considered to be a family friend. 6 months after the closing, Joy helped my sister move out! They left the keys on the kitchen counter and left me with 100% of the debt. My mortgage alone was $3000.
