Carers lie about turning up or are consistently late. Several times we have been called saying no one is home… while we are at home! Staff are logging visits and times that haven’t even occurred. Today, was told someone knocked at 8:45am (they are meant to arrive at 7:30-8am, so late!!)… checked cameras at home and no one has even been to the house. We are allocated 2hrs a day.. some days carers refuse to shower or do allocated tasks and say it is not their job. When carers arrive late in the morning, showers are not possibl... read more
I worked for RDNS for 3 years through this time I had the opportunity to work amongst an amazing group of people who were supportive during my time there especially during my study. As a student working part time it was a great experience learning from others and learning new skills within my job role. Have a wonderful bunch of support workers who look after me and I like the fact that this often doesn't change so I get great continuity of care. I also appreciate the fact that managenr are available and quickly handle any problems.
