Paid in full nearly six months ago and they still have not built the retaining wall. I’ve been told “next week” several times but nothing done except a huge pile of rock dumped on my property four months ago in my parking spots. Do not pay this company anything in advance. I put in retaining wall because that is what I paid for. I’ve even requested a full refund several times but all I get is “it will get done”. He said it should get done next week a month ago.
Absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever encountered with a contractor. Derrick comes across as a “Good Old Boy” when you first meet him. He really knows how to put on the charm. Our retaining wall project started out well enough, but it quickly deteriorated as poor workmanship required that sections of finished walls had to be torn down and rebuilt causing unnecessary delays. Built a fire pit patio and done an exceptional job. The service after the sale is amazing as well. Derrick and his crew do it right, and do what is asked. I would recommend these guys for any landscaping project!
We were truly amazed at what a superb job they did on our landscaping project. It was exactly what we wanted and they were so flexible when we changed a few things in the middle of the project. And we couldn't believe how they respected our lawn, etc as they were working. The cleanup was amazing!
Initally gave R&D a solid review as I trusted Derrick that things would be taken care of. I spoke and recommended him too soon. Well, lesson learned that after one year of promises that needs to be shared. In June, 2024, R&D put in concrete stairs and lighting down the side of our steep driveway and from the back of our home to the docks.
