I went here last weekend with my boyfriend as we spent Saturday here in Galveston and we really wanted to go thrift shopping. We were sad to see the male section only had one rack of clothes verses the MANY woman’s clothes. However he did find two cool shirts. I understand this is donation based but some diversity would be nice! I also did find a very groovy dress you can’t find anywhere else and that made me stoked. I have never had a cashier try to guilt trip me into donating my change. She asked if I wanted my change back I said “yes”. With a condescending tone she replied “you don’t want to donate your penny?” In which I responded “sure”. She handed me my paper change and I turned to my husband and said “that was so awkward!”.
