LINDA was awful. A disgusting display of customer service.
We have donated several times but this last time, just now, the person working the counter was so rude to us and the people checking out. I don't understand the reason for treating people like that. I will find another place to donate.
We visited as tourists. We were in town for Rosenberg Day and the RCC booth at the festival described it as a wonderful program that supports victims of domestic violence so we drove across town to visit this place. Unfortunately RCC is yet another place on Galveston Island that has signs on its restroom door advertising "NO PUBLIC RESTROOMS". Even after purchase. Even after begging.
Look upon thrift shopping as an adventure! You must dig through the grime like a archeologist! Treasures abound if you know what to look for! Be kind....people are on different paths...some need more love and understanding than others... Think about what your money goes towards and that should put a smile on your face!
