ATMs and tellers are ok. But the management and advisory staff behaviour is ridiculous. I’m client of RBC for 6 years. Never got treated the way I was treated at this branch. Even though this is the closest branch to me. I will never try to communicate through this branch ever again. It doesn’t worth my energy and nerves. I’d rather spend another 10 minutes on travel. Very disappointed.
I walked into this branch after not eating for days, simply trying to withdraw $50 the absolute last of my money in the entire world, held in my TFSA. I have no credit or debt with RBC, no overdraft, and my account is in perfectly good standing. Yet, when I tried to access my own positive funds to buy food, the branch manager approached me with complete aggression and condescension. I went into this RBC branch to make a simple $50 withdrawal from my TFSA the only I had to my name to cover basic living expenses like food to survive because my main account was at zero. Very disappointed with RBC. The teller service is consistently slow, and the wait times are unacceptable for a major bank. Better staffing and faster service are needed to respect customers’ time. Every visit has been frustrating.
