Am not a customer of RBC but I am still writing this review as I think people should know how RBC is funding fossil fuel companies while the whole world is facing the heat of climate change. Since 2016, RBC has invested more than 200 Billion into fossil fuels. This bank claims that they will go 'net zero' by 2050 but the reality is the fossil fuel projects they are funding will be running till 2050 or perhaps beyond that. I was interested in banking with RBC but after I learned that they have invested over 200 Billion into fossil fuels since the 2016 making it hard for us to keep global warming under control, I am no longer interested in banking with them. I will instead be opening an account with a credit union.
