Truly next-level banking “service” here. I went in for a simple wire transfer—something RBC literally promotes on their website—and was immediately hit with the most enthusiastic “nope” I’ve ever received. After some theatrical sighing and a look that said “how dare you inconvenience us,” they informed me that wire transfers are apparently far too taxing for their delicate workflow. I had a very disappointing experience at this RBC branch today. I went in to deposit money and was following all RBC guidelines, yet my deposit was denied without any clear or valid explanation. When the manager became involved, the situation only got worse.
