Worst banking experience resulted in thousands of dollars to pay in taxes!!! I opened a RRSP account with Jie and transferred my old RRSP over to this account, however this was not set up correctly and a month later I received a cheque with my RRSP cashed out!! I went to the branch right away and the Branch manager Ronald said they did not do anything wrong. So why was my RRSP sold out I ask? We came to this RBC branch unexpectedly to deal with a security issue. This is not our usual branch, and we were quite frustrated at first because the problem was related to the bank’s security department — nothing to do with the staff here. Despite that, everyone at this branch was incredibly patient and professional.
