Friendly service from excellent staff
I visited the branch to deposit US coins into my account but was told by the clerk that RBC does not accept US coins. This was incorrect and it seems that the staff are nor properly trained.
I visited to close my bank account, as I already have accounts at several other banks locally. I don't have time to check on so many of them, so I decided to close this one. This particular account was a grandfathered one I opened decades ago in a different currency (not Canadian), and it had run into some complications. Previously, I was very impressed by a staff member — a chubby gentleman who spoke Mandarin. He was professional, kind, and efficient, which gave me a very positive impression of your branch. However, during my most recent visit, I encountered an entirely different experience. A male staff member displayed an arrogant attitude and appeared clearly lacking in professional knowledge.
