I have been a client of RBC for over five years and have regularly used the branch at 7675 Markham Rd. Unfortunately, my experience at this location has been consistently frustrating and disappointing. The service is extremely inefficient. Wait times are unreasonably long, and even when you finally reach the counter, most of the tellers are interns who don’t have the authority to complete certain essential transactions — like international wire transfers. A friend of mine had an unfortunate experience at this branch involving a very rude and unprofessional teller — specifically, an older South Asian woman. Not only was the teller dismissive and unfriendly throughout the interaction, but she also refused to allow a withdrawal amount that other branches have never had an issue with. Customer are lined up but the customer service representative very slow
There is always a line up at this location so be prepared for a wait to get service. In addition I find that the agents at this location are ruder then most, and really not willing to help. Not going to go into details but if you can avoid this location you will be saving yourself time and aggravation
The bank tellers need more training on customer service and need to be more educated on their policies. Very unprofessional and rude.
