I had one "advisor", Amhad, prevent my 85yr old bed ridden father from paying bills by freezing his accounts without any notification to anyone. He almost caused my father to default on a 45yr old insurance policy. 3 months later, I am still trying what bills are still being paid by automatic transfer set up by my father. May 16th 2025 @ 12:00 pm. Extremely unprofessional and rude lady (black glasses) at the counter. Instead of trying to solve my problem, she kept on telling me how the banking system works. Rather than addressing the issue at hand, she started giving me unnecessary information about my account. I went to another RBC branch and the issue was resolved within 5 minutes without any problem. The fraud department temporarily locked my account. Said the code was in mail or can come in and get a copy. Due to the canada post strike ive waited almost a month. Went in and was treated with the most condescending attitude. Ive never been talked down to more in my life. And it didnt even resolve my issue. Will be gladly discontinuing business with them in the future.
