Very, very disappointed with the lack of service and communication from the financial advisor in this branch. I have dealt with Marjan many times and our interactions in the past have been decent. Unfortunately, from January 2025 to now, she doesn’t respond to voice messages or emails - as she told me this was the best way to contact her regarding investments and to set up appointment times with her. Would give 0 stars! Unhelpful! Rude! Didn't even try to help! I explained it was a very time sensitive matter, I had all the information in order and he refused to help! The manager told him to do it anyways, AND HE PUT A HOLD ON THE CHEQUE!! My home branch contacted him to release the hold, AND HE REFUSED TO!! He was incredibly rude and stuck up. Don't walk, run away!
Going to this RBC branch may make sense for you if you wouldn’t mind their longer waits and higher fees in exchange for a friendly(ish) face to chat with a real person. However, like many other reviewers, I found my overall experience a frustrating waste of time. Further, I feel RBC lacks value in what they offer compared to similar alternatives (credit union, online services like wealthsimple, tangerine, etc).
