My AC unit shut down the hottest week in July. Tyler from R&B came out and diagnosed the problem. He gave me several options to choose from. I truly appreciated his professionalism and expertise in solving my HVAC issue.
Had the pleasure of R&B sending out a service technician yesterday for my home. His name was Christian. My house was in the 80s and was set to 70. Absolutely the best customer service I have experienced in a long time. He never tried to oversell me on anything I didnt need. It turned out to be an A/C housing issue and no problem with my actual unit. Scheduled an appointment for an estimate to have a couple things looked at after a home inspection. At no time was there a mention of a $75 charge just for the tech to show up. Every other service provider I have dealt with notifies of up front charges and should repairs be necessary, that service charge is absorbed into the cost of the repairs. Not with this company. When contacting the company to clarify, I was told it was actually supposed to be a $99 charge. Seems they make up charges as they see fit.
I called R&B after having problems with my house keeping cool. They came the next day, diagnosed the problem and was presented with a couple of options. 1. Fix the unit (EVAP coil and replace Freon) 2. Replace the whole unit. I decided to replace the unit since it was 13 years old (Reason being who knows when the COMPRESSOR or CONDENSER coil would go out and those parts are just as expensive as the EVAP coil).
