I work in claims. I understand coding. This office billed us for something that was incorrectly coded. Although it was a first time visit, a physical was done as well as CT scans ordered. That should be counted as a wellness check and coded as such. I tried to clarify it with the office, but she insisted that it was coded only for established patient and did not include the physical for wellness check. BE AWARE OF WHAT OFFICES CODE YOU FOR!! Doctor Balotescu is head and shoulders above the rest. He is always extremely attentive, kind and very helpful.
I agree with the other one star review. STAY AWAY FROM THIS OFFICE AND THIS “DOcTOR.” I’ve had three appts with him. First one in office waited 1 and a 1/2 hours, then he gave me 20 minutes and I am a complex patient. He is not friendly, no personality..zip, zero. Second and third appt, same thing, waited over an hour. Today he hung up on me. He gave me this diet that almost brought me to the ER with a bowel obstruction. I got about 15 minutes with him this time and then he slammed the phone down on me. STAY AWAY.
Dr. B takes the time to listen. He gives clear solutions backed up with supporting documentation. I finally found a doctor I feel confident in.
