Good, fresh food Ray's is a good place to shop overall. They usually have everything I need. Meats are fresh - a bit expensive, but good quality. Highly recommended for everyday shopping.
Good grocery store. This is a good home town grocery store. They have a little bit of everything. Not overly large, but you can get in and out quick. Friendly customer service too.
Just moved to Prineville, Oregon. Everyone so helpful and friendly until I walked into Ray's Place. Very expensive but I could have dealt with that except the employees were unfriendly. The person who checked my one hundred and seventy dollars worth of food never said a word to me or smiled. Upon speaking to others afterward, I was informed that they refused to go in there anymore, preferring to go to another town to get what they need. I blame the owners for allowing the employees to act this way.
Prices could be better, but it's generally a nice place to shop. Keep an eye on the fruits and vegetables, though... I've come home with moldy produce on more than one occasion.
This is a terrible place... I wish I never went there. Especially Brandy, she is rude and very pompous. Actually, she is outright mean. I have never come across anyone like her. She makes me think of that song 'smiling faces' because she will smile at you while her body language shows her true feelings; she thinks she is better than her coustomers. I would seriously be very happy to see her leave the market. My opinion: FIRE HER.
