Update - Ray's Electric has put up illegal signage blocking an entire block of parking AGAIN. Signs are back-dated 8/31/26 to 9/11/26 but only gave notice on 9/1/26 when the signs suddenly appeared. They did not give 72hr required notice. No visible project or permit number. Reported to 311 again. Ray's Electric has had tow signs outside our building for over two months now and updated the dates on the signs again for another month. Literally this worker just came up to me hitting on me while I was simply walking my dog and wouldn’t leave me alone until I told him to go F off in my own neighborhood. Now I know where to tell my friends to not take their business because who wants to support a company that hires non respectful men like this.
Ray's Electric has had tow signs outside our building for over two months now and updated the dates on the signs again for another month. I work from remotely and can see they have done zero construction in this time. Called 311 with the sign information, and these are not valid tow signs. There are no active temporary signs issued for our section of street. Ray's Electric puts up fake tow signs. City of Oakland will be removing any signs without a visible valid permit on them.
Incompetent and misleading. Poor job, irresponsible crew.
Ray's Electric does great work. I had to increase the power coming into my home for a new hot tub. They did an excellent job.
