Stayed here 4 or 5 times, most recently this past week. Always friendly staff and yummy breakfasts. Safe and comfortable. Great location. Easy parking. Eclectic fun decor.
Ray’s is a unique, comfortable bed & breakfast in the Bucktown neighborhood of Chicago. Surrounded by art, memorabilia, books, games, and interesting people in the common areas, there’s an open bohemian vibe that’s disarming and relaxing. Breakfasts are deliciously hand-crafted with love - and there’s always street parking available! Comfortable beds, great showers, and free toiletries if you forgot something. Step back into a land that time has forgot.
This place is incredible. It is quirky, comfortable and whimsical. The staff is fantastic. The food for breakfast was outstanding. You get to order off a menu f you wish. They serve great coffee. The art collection on the walls throughout the place is great. There is so much to see on the walls, shelves and everywhere. Staff is wonderful, vegan breakfast amazing, low key art vibe (lots of things to check out), beautiful area, and a cool rooftop deck. I didn't use the steam room or sauna but would have if it was cooler and I was there longer. Just need to go back :)
We had an amazing time at Rays!! The place was so unique and cozy and the staff was so nice and accommodating!! The food was PHENOMENAL!! Will be staying there again when headed back to Chicago!!
