History Established in 1965. Rays Auto Wash opened in 1965 as 1 of 3 new Soft Spray Self Service Car Washes in Portland. In 1991 R.A.W. moved from the west side of 82nd Ave. to the East side of the street to make room for Fred Meyer. the only self serve carwash that rocks! everything always works! quality upkeep is awesome its not 24hrs which is smart and its just awesome even under the new ish ownership!!!
Better than the automatic car washes, they don't seem to get all the dirt and grime off your vehicles. Satisfied with cleaning and fair price.
Wash is good and service is good. But got a middle finger from a guy in his mid 40s flagging cars into the wash. Not sure what his issues are but that's not acceptable from a business. Don't work there if you have an issue with ever car that pulls in.
Typical self-serve wash. $3.00 starts the machine but $5.00 will allow you to soap up and rinse off…don’t use the brush!
