Replaced left knee in December, and the right knee just now. Liked him so much that I had to write him a limerick, as follows: There was a young doctor name Skunda Whose skill with knee joints was a wonda Said his patient named Scott Two new knees I’ve got And now I can run, jump and rumba All seriousness - great doctor, great support staff, a miracle worker as far as I’m concerned.
I had knee surgery on August 23,2024. It was my first surgery ever and need less to say , I was a bit apprehensive. Dr. Skunda and the staff at South Texas Spine and surgery were ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL. Everyone from the front desk, in take nurse , O.R. nurse, and anesthesiologist. I highly recommend Dr. Skunda for his attention to detail, bedside manner and post op phone "just to check in". Dr. Skunda is WONDERFUL, PROFESSIONAL AND RESPECTFUL. THANK YOU .
He is the best he cares about his patients. After surgery he gave me his # if I had any problems he would call and check on me and he always responds to all my text questions even tho it's been 6 months since my surgery. He is by far the best doctor ever!! Thank you doctor and your wonderful team.
Husband had Total Knee Replacement. Dr Skunda was soft-spoken, informative, reassuring. Excellent surgeon with exceptional results. Even gave cell # if any concerns post surgery. Very very pleased! Deserves a Fan Club!
