Dr. Grubb, and all his staff, are excellent! They are always friendly, understanding, and accommodating.Dr. Grubb is consistently kind, patient, and reassuring. I feel seen, understood, and safe in his care. Whenever I've had any issue I felt that he was genuinely concerned. He demonstrates compassion. My doctor listened, explained & came up with a plan. Plus she was familiar with my complex medical issues. I couldn’t be happier.
I stumbled back from a ski trip, limping, coughing and beat up. Dr. Grubb confirmed that I had an inguinal hernia and referred me to a top surgeon. He confirmed that I had severe bronchitis and prescribed meds that brought me relief quickly. I am sure glad that he has my back!

Great initial visit
Discussion of results of a blood test. She spent time explaining the results and answering questions I had. I was very pleased with my appointment.
We've seen Dr. Jacobs twice so far. Recently switched to Dr. Jacobs as previous PCP moved. The last doctor was east of I-75 and we now live in West Bradenton. My brother has cerebral palsy and other conditions. Dr. Jacobs is friendly and kind and thus far takes a conservative approach to helping him manage pain with therapy and exercise rather than writing a prescription and calling it a day.
I had been considering a change to a local doctor that would focus on me and not on expediting patients. My wife recommended her new caregiver Doctor Shannon, and was so enthusiastic about her care I decided to make the effort to "re-doctor". I found that Dr. Lisa Shannon isn't just a doctor. She is a caring and kind medical detective. She digs into your health history, she listens, asks the questions that need asking and works towards solutions. No good experience with her a continuous disappointment each visit .....rushed appointments and poor listener, we both agreed it wasn't a good fit
