After ankle surgery my spouse was transferred to rehab in Machias Maine. A request was placed to change pain medications. Two times in a row the wrong pain meds were sent from the pharmacy. So my spouse went 2 days with no pain medication. Two request were made to Dr. Howard with his receptionist to authorize the reinstatement of her Humira but Dr. Howard never answered this request. And, I have never seen him visit her while in rehab. Very poor communication skills with the rehab facility and myself . What ever happened to ... read more
Dr. Howard is a good Doctor but wish that when he was leaving he would have made sure all his patience, had someone to write their prescriptions for them until we got a new doctor . Good luck to you and your wife where ever you go. RUTH & LARRY of Eastport. God Bless you 🙏
Best doctor I've ever had!!
I moved to Maine almost a year ago. Through the VA I was given Dr. Howard as my primary care provider. He is fantastic! Always takes the time to listen and address issues you have. The best part, he knows what he’s doing. I’ve had a multitude of Doctors through the VA that are subpar. This is not the case with Dr. Howard. I am so incredibly thankful to have been matched with Doctor Howard. Always seems like you're Dr. Howards only patient when you're there( His admin staff and medical personnel there are the same way), yes he's busy but when you're the best you get no rest. I've referred my friends to him and my DECH Ortho surgeon and his wife see Dr. Howard. And he was a combat medic too. He earned being an MD the hard way- he did it and he's great
