My mother tried once again to call Dr. Fong for a simple medication refill, and the receptionist, Elaine, was rude, arrogant, and completely lacking even the most basic sense of respect. She behaves as if she’s in charge—raising her voice at patients, giving mixed messages, and refusing to take responsibility for her own mistakes. Closed at 1:30 when I arrived. Advertised open until 5pm. I met the rude receptionist people complain about. Expect We're closed! No new patients! Go somewhere else! Hard getting healthcare as a Canadian

While Dr. Fong is an excellent and approachable physician, the experience of accessing care through his office is significantly hindered by the receptionist, Elaine. Unfortunately, she is consistently rude, unprofessional, and dismissive. She often pries for confidential information, offers unsolicited medical advice, and speaks in a condescending manner that lacks both empathy and basic courtesy.
