Dr. Lakin may just be the best doctor in Broward county. Rare that you wait more than fifteen minutes. He goes over everything about your condition and answers all your questions. He obviously enjoys what he does and has a sense of humor. He is easy to talk to and converses in plain English, not medical speak unless it is necessary.
Dr. Lakin has been my primary for the last ten years. He is easy to talk to and goes over everything with you each visit. He cares about his patients and what he does. His group, Conviva, has some issues in staffing retention and patient interaction. Michelle and Luv are the best in front of the office. I know none of the names in the back as they are reticent about giving them.
Dr. Lakin is very good as a primary physician. Knows more than most PCP's I been to and cares about you and his job. Problem: Most of the staff is either overworked or incompetent. Exceptions: Michelle, Toccara and Lorraine. Since Conviva attempting to get to a person is all but impossible. Hope you like voice mail; and I have never been able to talk to the doctor with one phone call. No tele-medicine that I'm aware of. No email either.
the worse office personal. they take forever to answer the phone then they take 5 mins telling you how busy they are. dr is out of town with only a nurse as back up wish i had a dollar for every time they are suppose to call back and dont. father is 93 and blood pressure is going crazy up over 202 then slowly drops then back up again went to emergency at holy cross and they advised to see his dr that they cannot give him a new persecution he is very afraid of a stroke and they way he was treated on phone only made it worse w... read more
Very good primary physician he oversees my healthcare great and lets the specialists do most of the work.
Shout out to the nurses who do a fabulous job.. always kind and caring and pleasant! Chciara went the extra mile helping take my mom's bandage off today.. such patience.. she is an Angel! You gals ROCK! So grateful!
This is a doctor who is very knowledgeable. He shows concern for his patients. It It is obvious that he loves what he does.
