STAY AWAY from this doctor. They are very dishonest on billing. My colonoscopy scanning procedure was done and results was given to repeat after 3 years. And yet he ask you to come back to follow up after 2 weeks. Just to charge me a $75 Co-pay and claim my insurance company. He gave me the same piece of paper from the day of procedure after i waited 2 hours and being seen for 30 seconds. After the procedure you will get billed separately by him and another facility he uses. You will get a lot of run around with no help.

I had the worse experience, he administered the anestetic, I went to sleep and woke up only to hear he went to get coffee. Then gave me a second time and was no where to be found to explain nothing he did to me. I ended up with a terrible infection. Still never saw him again.

Clinic is horrible. First there’s no appointments. Its first come first serve. Then they have patients come in starting at 7am and the doctor doesn’t show up until 9am. Why have patients wait for 2 hrs?? That is really cruel when patients have been fasting for this procedure. Check in was really smooth but had to wait over an hour to get paperwork to fillout. Overall it was a horrible experience. Go elsewhere for your colonoscopy.

Business response:

Sorry you had a bad experience. It sounds like you are referring to the facility in the Bronx. If that is the case, Dr Diaz only attends that clinic to teach and assist with procedures. However, If you are referring to his office in Great Neck, I do not ever recall having a patient wait 2 hours for a 7:00 am appointment; in fact, we do not offer 7 a.m. appointments. If you would like to call the office and speak more in detail, you can call 516-233-2838 and ask for Michele.

Kind and inquisitive, Dr. Diaz was friendly and reassuring when listening and describing my symptoms. I highly recommend him for your Gastro needs!

I definitely recommend seeing Dr Diaz, I believe this is the first time in my life that I've sat and discussed a medical issue for more than 10 minutes . He is very thorough! Wait time was very short and the front desk was very helpful.

Dr Diaz took his time with me. I didn't feel rushed. He had a waiting room full of patients but took the appropriate amount of time with me. Wonderful Doctor. Highly recommend. His office Manager/ secretary is wonderful. She goes above & beyond helping the patients.
