I’ve loved the store for a few years but this time they really went above and beyond for me. I was looking for a book that they didn’t have in stock and the manager offered to have it ordered for me. Only took a few days before they called and had it in. Was a super good price too! There’s always great stuff to find in there and I always stop in if I’m going to be in the area. And if you’re visiting from elsewhere, there’s no better place to find Des Moines and Iowa souvenirs!
Took a trip to Iowa during pride month; walking in here felt like the starts aligned. This is the most fun store I’ve ever entered—I didn’t really understand the Midwest until I walked in here. Shirt selection is class, I was cackling.
Came across Raygun when I casually strolled around the street when I visited Des Moines 3 years ago. “Hmm the greatest store on the universe? Idk abt that” was my thought before I ventured into the store. And guess what, Raygun has been my fav store ever since. I got several funny shirts in my wardrobe, and their stickers are all over my car.
