My mother n Law was neglected, laid in pee and got a UTI..also she was placed in a reclining chair 75% of the time and was not bathed regularly. She had a peg tube and the binder that covered it was nor checked regularly so she pulled it out was sent to the hospital and passed away two days later. You should think twice before leaving your loved one in their care, I wish I hadn't of.

Just because they are not physically hitting the patients, dosnt mean they are not neglecting them. Refusing to give my mother a shower and letting her lay around for hours in her own mess, is still a form of elder abuse. Shame on you. And I dont understand how you can just "lose" someone's clothing, unless you are mixing all the laundry!

If you love your family member, do not let them stay here. As soon as you walk into the building the foulest smell of urine and cigarettes hits you in the face. Id see residents in the hallways with soaked pants when id walk to my grandmother's room, the staff neglected her, id visit every day and it was always the same thing she was soaking wet so id have to go and complain but nothing ever got resolved because it would just happen again. I admit I was a bit concerned after reading some of the negative reviews but I have to say that was not our experience at all. First it was easy to see that the facility is clean and well-maintained. We had no complaints about the food being served as they provided various nutritious options to suite the individual residents needs. The staff is not only knowledgeable but they take pride in treating residents with respect and kindness. The people are wonderful, staff and all included. The building is kept very clean and hospitable. The staff is effective and efficient when concerns are presented and are the same way with providing care.
