The food just wasn't the best. I go to this one from time to time and typically enjoy it, but tonight just wasn't doing it for me. The takoyaki was soggy, the salmon wasn't flaky in my ramen. I'm not sure what word to use to describe it of undercooked, overcooked, or what, but it wasn't flaky. My friend had an egg that crumbled apart on contact. I'm not sure what changed, but it's just not as exemplary.
I was hoping Rayaki would live up to my first ramen spot, but sadly it does not measure up to Rai Rai. The chicken katsu was very crispy, but the noodles tasted like store shelf ramen and the broth was bland and lacking flavor. The bowl did come with plenty of toppings and it filled me up. The pork buns were not good at all, smothered in mayo. The buns themselves were soft, but the heavy condiments made them fall apart and hard to hold.
Been to their other locations in Philly. This one’s ok.

Good food and a decent atmosphere. Our food came out rather quickly and our server was. I would go back if given the opportunity!
