I would recommend the movers with Ray the Mover (Jeremiah was the driver and team lead, and I was impressed with his work--a good experience working with him). However, we did not have a good experience with the packing services; one of the packers seemed to have done a better job, but there was also extremely disorganized packing with insufficient labeling, sharp objects packed without enough wrapping or labeling, and categories mixed up between boxes. STAY AWAY. Damaged 45 items for over $7,000 and then refused to pay out even $1K. Made up all kinds of excuses, said they didn't disassemble items (which they did), refused to pay for stains on our couches, the list goes on and on. They damaged about 25% of everything they touched! Terrible moving job and terrible responses. I will be taking them to arbitration. They also yelled at my pregnant wife. Great customer service. The consultation was excellent. We were very confident that we had made the right choice to go with Ray the Mover for our move from NH to SC. We were assured that there would be clear communication through the process and that they were full service, we didn't have to worry about a thing. Unfortunately, things did not go smoothly.
