Can’t beat Ray’s service, prices, or personality. We’ve bought multiple bikes from him. Also got our kickstands, water bottle holders, bike racks and baskets, bells, and more here. Ray is currently fixing my bike that fell off the car rack so I can bring it on my camping trip tomorrow. Hard to find quality and reliability and care like this shop provides.
Sold me the wrong tube after I explicitly said what size I needed. Based on my interaction I may have been the first female cyclist ever to set foot in the shop. Possibly fine if you are male, but assume you will be condescended to as a woman.
Stopped by planning on having my older bike tuned up. Ray was amazing and assessed my bike, told me I didn't need a tuneup, and tweaked a few things. A delightful experience and conversation. AMAZING! Will be back.
You will never find a friendlier experience than buying a bike at Ray and Sons.
I’ve been bringing my skis to Jay once a year for a tune, and I honestly wouldn’t trust anyone else with my gear. Jay takes real pride in his work, every time I pick up my skis after an edge sharpen and wax, they feel unbelievably fast and dialed in. What impresses me most is the consistency. I only tune once a season, and it genuinely lasts me the whole winter. You can tell Jay doesn’t just rush things through, he does the job right.
