I asked for a ID Doc to consult on my mother’s case as she had contracted Legionnaires 3 months previous and here she was back in the same hospital with thus far unexplained non bacteria fluid in her lungs. My mother is considered immunocompromised she’s 89. He spent no time on her or her history but determined this was not related to legionaries. He was rude. argumentative, defensive and dismissive. Legionaries is not even listed as something he works with.
I had sepsis in February 2016, in May Dr. Sayan told me that I wasn’t sick anymore, by June the sepsis had infected my spine and pacemaker, between July and September I had seven surgeries and as a result I ended up with drop foot and my spine with a lot screws, disable for life.
