Very disappointed in this soil - it was loaded with stones and pebbles and is very hard. I received it a month ago but just recently my grandsons had the time to fill my above ground planters and I just had the time to plant. When planting I noticed that it was very hard and my most if my seeds haven’t even sprouted. Their mixture is very hard and I’m so disappointed - 3 yards and I have to add perlite and coco core mix to even get it workable - at this late stage I feel very ripped off. If you buy soil from these guys, there’s a very high chance they are going to deliver bad product! Full of rocks, pebbles & is almost as hard as clay. When you complain or ask for a reimbursement. They will not work with you at all. Very unprofessional scammers!
Edited review 5/9/2025 fm 2 Stars on topsoil received to 5 Stars for customer service. Owners called today about my review and treatment on the phone. He apologized for the product we received. He came out to look at the pile and agreed it must have been a pile that hadn't been worked on. He refunded us and apologized again. Very disappointed in our topsoil order. Make sure you inspect it before ordering a delivery. For being labeled pulverized and screened, the 3-yard load we got was 1/4 clay balls and gravel. The dark, rich soil we got in the past is definitely not the standard anymore. I called to tell them the load was poor quality and they said that the screens are letting that junk through.
We even met the owner while there,Dan Hintz ! Great service !
