On May 22 I drove with a technician to evaluate noise on my 2015 QX60 with 104,000 miles. I was told it was the front wheel bearings. I was later told that the rear brakes needed service too. I picked up the car on May 24 at and agreed cost of $2,011.32. I was then told that the transfer case also needed repair at ~$4,200. The problem is that I took the car to the local mechanic before going to the dealership and he told me it was both the bearings and the transfer case, but that he could not do the job.
