Terrible neurologist and terrible neurological team. Over booked and understaffed. Keeps scheduling you to come in with NO changes. Literally the WORST doctor I have ever been to. I started going to a new doctor and found out what was wrong with me in less than a week. Something that this doctor took MONTHS to do. Do NOT waste your time or money on this guy.
I went to the Bloomfield, NJ office of Dr. Tikoo and would recommend it. Like most decent doctors, it took longer to get an appointment than I would like, but I am glad I waited. The staff in the Bloomfield office was polite, thoughtful, and attentive to answering my questions regarding paper work, health insurance, and anything else I needed. Dr. Tikoo was also attentive. He was pleasantly soft spoken with a kind tone that explained procedures and made me feel comfortable. I felt heard and in good care.
The office manager is incompetent as well as rude. She had called to reschedule my appointment, but did not give my vital information that was needed for my new appointment. I filed a complaint with the state of NJ medical board as well as the medical assistant association. She failed at her job & should have taken care of things properly, but she did not.
I went to his Union City office freaking waste of my time. After confirming my appt via text the same day of my appt when I get there they tell me he no longer takes my insurance. Wow, couldn’t have called to let know this at least very inconsiderate. Waited almost a month for this appt to not be seen at all. They have people working there that are very irresponsible at their job especially when it comes to neurology patients.
